A Brief Update!

Yes, I know I am postng here less...but this is actually good. It means I am busier than busy with important things as opposed to slumping and writing here...I do find that the amount of posts I do here and how depressed I am directly correlate to one another...so if I'm not here so much, it means I am happy and busy!!
I'm currently weening off of my hormones in preperation for my withdrawal 131 Iodine scan in a months time. This machine looks like a mini CT scan but it's different. I go into nuclear medicine 2 days before the scan and swallow a "tracer" dose of radioactive iodine. When I go back the entire scan takes 30-45 minutes and I usually fall asleep while having it. When I wake up the results are viewable and even to the untrained eye you know if it's good or bad. What we don't want to see is big white spots...or any white spots actually. I've only had one of these come out clear so fingers crossed. I have no reason to think the cancer is back, etc but I still need to check up on it...and I am 6 months late for this scan. Madison told me she wishes I had have had it 6 months ago but the fact is, i could not have dealt with bad news 6 months ago...I may have just given up...but now...now, I'm ready to fight again if I have to 9and of course I'm hoping to not have to).
Okay, gotta get back to editing the porn...my new G5 just arrived...woohoo!!!
