Money, Money, Money...

Ugh, I spent so much of it today I feel sick. The flight to the UK, and then off to JCX where I got another 500 watt light (lowel omni), speed ring and softbox, and also an arri 650 with barn doors.

Basically the soft box is for lighting the face when I am shooting bondage positions where the face faces the floor and is usually dark (think strapado)...I have 2 of these lights already but one is used for the "money" shot and the other is for fill...I needed one more to light things a little more evenly. I like soft, even light.

The arri 650 is for the boiler room, it is to light the backgrounds better as my 250's just weren't cutting it. Actually, this light was very, very reasonably priced which is why i didn't wait to get it in a few weeks even though I really don't need it for my LA trip.

Ugh, the LA trip is going to cost a fortune but I just love the choice of girls I have down there...and the fact that they're easy to work with. San Francisco has some pretty new girls but fuck, I am so sick of explaining to them that in porn you need to shave your pussy (and ass, and underarms) and wear deoderant. The hippy chick thing gets old really quick when you're in an intimate situation with someone on a porno set LOL!
