I live on Planet Mac!
The amount of Apple hardware in my house right now is insane. Hubby and I decided to take full advantage of buying some tax-deductable computers before the end of 2006 and my office currently looks like a Mac store!!!
To those still living on Planet PC...sorry but I don't get you! I feel as if Mac's are the luxury cars of computing (at least for what I do; which is edit video, retouch photos, etc) and I have the top of the line luxury computer all ready for editing some dirty porn!!!
Planet Mac is a nice place to be...it makes me very happy!
Happy New Year!

Erm... Right click?
It's not that I have anything against Mac, but i just had my first experience on one this last week and not having a right mouse button really felt wierd. Sure, Mac is the best thing since sliced bread for video and picture editing, but I'll stick to Linux.
And, lest we forget, Gimp is nothing to sneeze at, if you're not willing to pay for photoshop.
Incidentally, does Gimp run on Mac?
MickeyMike,
All macs come with a free set of developer tools and lots of unix goodness under the hood. Not sure what you're talking about, but you're so very wrong when you say:
* I am a programmer...my life would be miserable and I would be laughed at if I had a Mac."
