Back to Work!

I just wish I could have a one week "true" vacation! Hubby and I just ate in a nice mexican restaurant in the new SF shopping centre extension and it reminded me so much of Playa del Carmen...the beaches, the weather, the stress-free environment, etc. He's been talking about us visiting Egypt next year so we'll have to arrange that asap because my year is filling up fast!

So, back from the UK and stuffed full of Turkey. Tomorrow is officially my "back to work" day where I'll edit videos, pay bills, run errands, etc. The last few days have been spent preparing a feast for my closest family and friends for Thanksgiving (which we celebrated yesterday). Madison Young seemed very impressed at the spread I put on, asking me if I realised that one person does not usually do all of the work (apparently people all bring dishes of food)! The thing is, I love it, I love doing it every year, it's stressful but so rewardning when I see everyone eating and enjoying all that I have prepared! If I weren't a pornographer I may very well be a caterer or chef!

Okay, this is a boring entry, sorry guys, I'll write more when I have something interesting to say!

Help Me!!!!

Omigod...I arrived in Wales a few hours ago and feel as if I am on a different planet...I mean, they have never heard of wi-fi here...I ask about wireless internet and I get blank looks, so then I ask about ethernet connection in the hotel room and they have no idea what I am talking about....this is all very strange to me....

The Unstoppable Ariel Anderson LOL!!!

Goddamn, I am tired tonight! I rigged today for Restrained Elegance with the lovely english model Ariel Anderson as sub and she just can't get enough! By 5pm, 2 locations and lots of bondage all day Hywel and I were pretty much done...and she wanted more! I even did a super cool suspension with her that I am totally jealous is not for my site!

The London workshops yesterday went pretty well. I'm a little down that the electro one was not as good as when I have taught it in the past....although I was told by the organisers that everyone was happy with the class, I just know it wasn't my best one...and I like every class I teach to be my best one! We were let in to the venue late and therefore we started late and something as small as that can really throw me off...I'm one of those "always allow enough time to prepare" people so when I know people are waiting for me I get very stressed out, even if I was early and it totally wasn't my fault.

The advanced rope class was a lot of fun but I relaised that 2 hours (I think we actually went for 2 and a half) is no where near long enough when teaching suspension...lots of attendees had topics they wanted covered and there just wasn't the time. One great suggestion was "how to suspend 2 people, interlocked together"...I would have loved to do/teach that but it would have taken the entire time.

Coffee, Cake & Kink!!!!

Just got back from a great night out at CCK in Covent Garden, London!

It was a really nice end to what was actually a very stressful day...I really want to avoid the M1 for the rest of this trip if I can...unfortunately I have a lot of commitments up north and am probably just going to have to brave it and add an extra hour or so on to all of estimated travel time. My drive to Leicester this morning should have taken 2 hours...it took 3...ugh. Lucky I left London at 6:30am allowing hours more time than needed.

Left Leicester and had 3 hours to get back to London for my signing at CCK...it should have taken 2, it actually took almost 4, needless to say I was late and for someone like me that is NEVER late that really stressed me out.

Had a great time once there though! Lots of good English breakfast tea, chocoloate cake with hot fudge and ice cream and I even recruited a new bitch and named her!!! I love naming girls I turn on to this stuff, my new gem will now be known as Sophie Croft...a very nice english name for a stunning, tall, posh english girl that will soon be in my ropes!

My Fridge is Possessed....

Just one of many strange things that is going on over the last couple of days. The sounds from my beautiful stainless steel fridge/freezer cannot be good...and there' a tonne of frozen meat in there including 2 turkeys so I really hope it manages to stay functional until after Thanksgiving.

Taught "Bondage for Sex" at Good Vibes in Berkeley last night, it was a good class with a nice bunch of people and the lovely Madison Young was my demo model. She watched me drink a pot of tea and a cannolli before the class at Cafe Trieste...the world just seems so much more civilised when drinking cups of tea...

Speaking of tea, I am about to be offered it everywhere I go again, because yet again I will be in the UK!!! This is one of my great pleasures of England, the fact that no matter where you go you are offered tea and they know how to make it (sorry americans reading this, but seriously, the way you make tea sucks). As much I will love the tea I do have to say that this trip has arrived too soon and I am starting to need a break from all of the travelling. This was meant to be my last big trip of the year but alas, I have rescheduled Toronto for just before Xmas....then I am going to try my hardest to stay put (aside from LA) until march, 2007. I have a nice 1894 victorian apartment in SF...it would be good to spend some time there for a change LOL!

I'm also concerned that certain events may be falling through on this next trip. I was practically begged and nagged to go and teach up in Leeds and I finally agreed only to hear now that maybe it isn;t happeneing...I really can't afford to have days off in the UK, it's just too expensive.

Anyway, enough of that...must get back to packing!

LA Shoots, etc...

Hello, hello!

You know, when I'm on the road travelling I just don't get the chance to update my blog. Any web access I do manage to get a hold of is used for checking the site, answering important e-mail, etc.

Last week's LA trip was intense. Different to others in that it wasn't so smooth. There was drama, and late models, and male talent with a bad attitude, and a PA that pushed all of the wrong buttons with me at times. My videographer was a rock as always, his calmness really helps me when I am getting crazy and high strung. The locations were also lovely. Would have loved to use Zenova's new space also (saw pics of it on her lj) but never heard back from her, I'll have to try again as the space looks great for the kind of shooting I do!

So, 6 http://www.chantasbitches.com shoots done, 2 of which had 2 female subs in them. The one with Satine and Mika was absolutely amazing and will lead nicely into a part 2 where Mika will Dominate Satine! Also shot 2 test shoots for new site ideas. Both test shoots were acceptable and the pics look fantastic but until I edit the video I really don't know how they turned out.

Happy to be home with my man even if it is raining, miserable and cold in SF! Can't believe that this time next week I will be in London again...I may need to take a bit of a break from the international trips for a few months after this one.

The next LA trip is in December and I need to decide if I'll use it to shoot more CB's stuff or to shoot for a new site....
